Monday 19th March 2012 – A joint meeting with the Local History Group in LALG's 25th anniversary year.

George Bernard Shaw: his links to the Garden City.
A talk by Sue Morgan, House Manager at Shaw's Corner,

to be followed by Arts and Crafts at Shaw's Corner:
a talk by researcher Alice McEwan.

Shaw, who memorably referred to "Ebenezer, the Garden City Geyser", was a great supporter and investor in the Garden Cities.

Monday 15th May 2012 – AN AFTERNOON MEETING 

Talk by Josh Tidy Curator of the First Garden City Heritage Museum on the History of the Cinema in Letchworth Garden City at 2.30 p.m.


 
Talks are at The Settlement unless otherwise stated , starting at 7.30 pm.
admission £3 for Members (and LALG), £4 for non-members
